Rain, fresh and alive,
Condensation from the
Breath of the morning as she
Sings the world awake
Humming crickets
Announcing the dawn
Trilling birds and scattered
Chirping of airborne lovers
Wisps of golden cloud
Kissing the tips of the
Misty mountains as they peek over the
Tops of the pillowed valleys
Insisting,
Welcoming,
Beckoning the rest of the world into
Sunrise
this poem was inspired by my walk to an early morning practice session. there is nothing sweeter than the crisp dawn air of the Dahlonega mountains.
